SASSY-FOSTER NEEDED the Dog needs a home
When you look at this Mountain Cur mix girl named Sassy you see an overweight, brindle mutt that has sadly lost her family that adopted her as a young puppy. Somehow the unconditional love ran out. The love that was unconditional ran out when she seemed to have some problems with nervous times around young children and got snappy. Instead of trying to understand her personal needs they labeled her a problem and made the decision to return her 5 years later to CCR. They returned this sweet girl to us as an overweight and sensitive dog that is totally confused about why she has to stay outside in a kennel after having been used to the inside comforts of a home. It was all we had for her right now. She cries now….lonesome and totally confused as to why her life changed so dramatically. The family threatened to either euthanize her or drop her at a shelter if CCR did not take her back. SO….we brought her all the way from New England where we sent her off full of hope as a young puppy and now we will try to make her life over. We will rescue her AGAIN. This girl is good with other dogs, cats, loves car rides and is housebroken. Can someone help us do that for Sweet Sassy? Maybe a place with no young children that make her kind of nervous. A crate with a niceblanket that is hers in a calm, soothing place. Maybe someone that will walk her every day and help her get her Sassy self back by losing some weight!
